(The steering committee has also suggested a two-hour meeting on the topic of preparing for promotion and tenure which will take place in late January or early February. This will be a two-hour meeting from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. More information about this meeting will be forthcoming.)
Note: We have added to the original slate of meetings a meeting on Demystifying the Tenure and Promotion Process. It will take place January 28 from 3:00 to 5:00pm. in a place to be announced. Also note above that the meeting places for the meetings in the spring are yet to be assigned. All meetings will be held in the Old Guard Room of the Inn of Virginia Tech. Go through the buffet line and eat your meal during the first half hour. Then the program will begin. Fred Piercy will send out an announcement a few weeks before each of these meetings.
