Background:   The VT graduate school each year acknowledges the outstanding master’s and doctoral  student for each college.  The colleges are allowed to set their own criteria and select their own outstanding master’s and doctoral students.   The CLAHS Awards Committee has established the following criteria and process for the selection of these students.

Procedure and Criteria:

  2. The criteria for the award will include three areas:  Teaching, Research, and Outreach.

Evidence of research could include publications, presentations, and workshop creation.
