Faculty Openings in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences
Founded in 1872 as a land-grant college, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) is the most comprehensive university in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is among the top research universities in the nation. Nestled in the beautiful Alleghany Mountains, Virginia Tech’s eight colleges are dedicated to quality, innovation, and results through learning, discovery and engagement. The College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences is one of the largest and most diverse colleges on the Virginia Tech campus; it includes programs in the arts, humanities, social and human sciences, and education.
